Implementation of EPICS on RTEMS

EPICS is a set of software tools and applications used worldwide to develop distributed real-time control systems for scientific facilities such as particle accelerators, telescopes and other large scientific experiments. This paper explains the principles and methods of implementation of EPICS on RTEMS, and introduces an EPICS sample system with the front-end IOC based on RTEMS. The success of this sample system provides an experimental platform for research on EPICS, and provides a new operating system platform for IOC in EPICS system.
