Estimation of driver's driving state based on cloud model

An estimation method was developed to predict a driver's driving state based on cloud model theory for driver surveillance in intelligent vehicle assistant driving systems.This paper introduces the cloud model and three numerical characteristics of the cloud model and the cloud generator.Then the cloud model was used to compare real videos for different driving states.A simple experiment using the Tsinghua mobile robot system,THMR-V,on a real road shows that the method efficiently identifies and warns drivers of abnormal driving states.
