A Precise Matching Algorithm for the Panaramic Image of Criminal Scenes

Image matching is the kernel technique of the process of panoramic image mosaics.In allusion to the image matching segment in the scene reestablishment of the crimes,this paper puts forward a precise matching algorithm.Firstly,the images to be matched are crossed and blocked by the cut-off lines.A wavelet transform edge detection algorithm is used to extract the edges of each sub-block.Then a self-adapt$ation linear fitting method is applied to finding the corner points in the extracted edges,and these points will be used as the quasi-characteristics points for matching.The points extracting process is repeated after these cut-off lines are moved in parallel.The twice extracted quasi-characteristics points are calculated for intersection and the results points are used to image matching as the final feature points.Experiments show that this algorithm performs the scene image matching accurately.
