Study on Performance of Multiuser Downlink MMSE Precoding in MC-CDMA Systems

A downlink transmission precoding in MC-CDMA systems was proposed.The minimum mean square error(MMSE) precoding was used to suppress multiple access interference in downlink and MMSE equalization was used to compensate the channel distortion.Compared with equal gain combining(EGC) precoding,the MMSE precoding could suppress the multiple access interference in MC-CDMA downlink and reduce the noise enhancement in receiver equalizer.The results show that the performance of MMSE precoding is better than that of EGC precoding under multiple users downlink transmission environment.The MMSE precoding is robust in downlink transmission with channel estimation error.
