The software test becomes much more complex along with the size of software becoming bigger and the complexity of software being much more than before. It is not economic to completely test because of the limit of test resource. Thus should select the best test data to generate test case from the large amount of probability test data. The method is very efficient to discover the bug hiding in the software. This paper introduces a method of designing test case based on statistical principle. The spirit of this theory is that the bugs probability is definite when the elements of source, technology and the process management are the same level. So can deduce all sorts of bugs'probability of distribution according to the history data in test case designing. This method is very objective, efficient and reusable, which could save much resource and improve the efficiency of software test.
