On the Difficult Problem of Network Defamation Crime in Information Age

Network defamation turns more and more frequent,compared with traditional defamation. It has the characteristics such as fast transmission,wide influence. But punishment in network defamation can't abandon the tolerance character in new areas,freedom of speech and legal interest protection should be in balance. Defamation actions should be strictly distinguished from guilty or not guilty,by three aspects,including the act scope,the subject scope,and situation seriousness.
