Transporting XML Active Rules by SOAP in One E-service Scenario

The important aspect of internet-based information system is that service provider need to voluntarily send the information about their products and services according to the demand of agents or users. But the two technologies used to realize this function:active rules and database triggers adopt the mechanisms which operate locally. In this paper,put forward one E-service scenario based on SOAP. In this scenario, encapsulate the active rules with SOAP and make use of rule broker to install it at remote XML servers. This scenario satisfies the needs of many important applications and makes them flexible and portable.
