Video and Audio Synchronization Compression Method Based on H.264/AVC

Zhao Qi-lin · Video Engineering · 2009

The audio bit-streams are embedded into the DCT coefficient of video images to be encoded and transmitted together at the time of encoding using the characteristics of parity of the DCT coefficients, then get the video images through the process of decoding at the receiver and at the same time in accordance with the appropriate algorithm to extract audio information. The method achieves the synchronization of audio and video compression.Experimentation shows that this method can extract the audio information without distortion under the condition of not increasing the amount of data, and has little effect on the quality of video images.
