Integrative Research on the System of Multi-Reservoir Flood Forecast and Operation Based on Graph Theory

A new integrative method for multi-reservoir flood control system has been proposed based on the graph theory.Inthis method,the multi-reservoir system is conceptualized as a digraph.The adjacent list,adjacent matrix and conjunction ma-trix are used to analyze topological relations to solve the integration problem.Relation tables of alternatives are used to ana-lyze topological relations for alternative management,which reduces the complexity in multi-alternative management and isconvenient for users to operate and manage.Practical application shows that the multi-reservoir flood forecast and operationsystem built based on graph theory feature the characteristics of generality,extensibility and maintainability.
