At present, many routing protocols have been proposed for high energy utilization in cluster-based wireless sensor networks, however, these protocols didn't consider the security factor. To address the issue, the paper presents a dynamic key distribution protocol-SDKD based on clustering,it considers both the node's residual energy and location information to optimize the cluster head election mechanism, and uses the dynamic key generated by Hash functions to encrypt the communication process. The simulation results show that, compared to the typical clustering protocol LEAP,SDKD cuts down the energy consumption and extends the life cycle of the network.
