FPGA Implementation of Wireless Modem Based on DVB-DSNG System

DVB-DSNG Standard employs RS code and P-TCM code as an optional outer and inner coding,QPSK and higher order modulation(8PSK,16QAM) as the modulation scheme to attain energy efficiency under the condition of maintaining the information rate with no need to extend the bandwidth.Focusing on the DVB-DSNG system,a design scheme for real-time base band modem is presented based on P-TCM codec with optimal parameters determined through computer simulation and verified on FPGA.
