A Survey on Clustering Algorithms in MANETs

Many mobile ad hoc applications depend upon the hierarchical structure, and clustering is the most popular method to impose a hierarchical structure in the mobile ad hoc networks. In this paper, we examine many typical clustering algorithms, and the metrics to measure them, as well as the simulation tools. Finally, we present our predictions on future directions.
