Improved routing approach based on LTP-RSS in opportunistic networks

In opportunistic networks the line between mobile nodes breaks frequently, which makes the transmission between nodes abort frequently. To solve the problem, an improved approach, called Link Time Prediction based on RSS(LTP-RSS)is proposed. With the link time prediction, a node can predict whether the transmission would abort before the transmission starts. Experiments show that LTP-RSS reduces the network overhead of delivered message and the probability of transmission abort from link breaking.
