Research & implementation of content-based engineering drawing retrieval

A prototype system DRS(Drawing Retrieval System) is developed in this paper.Meanwhile,some tests including global retrieval,local retrieval,and semantic similarity retrieval based on ontology,and the applications of the retrieval results are conducted to validate research achievements.The experiment results show that the prototype system has favourable stability and effectiveness,and it can effectively facilitate the reuse of product design and machining information.
