Function of the standardizing bar code technology management in the improving pass rate of test specimens

Objective To explore the effect of the standardized bar code technology applied in the management of test specimens.Methods By combining test bar codes with the test information management system,we standardized the bar code information,enhanced the training of nurses and standardized the bar code application.Result The failure rate of specimens was reduced(P0.01).Conclusion Applying the bar code technology in the management of test specimens can standardize the bar code information and nurses' behavior of collecting specimens,thus ensure the quality controlling before test analysis and improve the management level.
