The ITU-R has authorued the creation of a hdbook, "The Mestion and Use of Precise Frequency and Time Systems. " This handbook is designed for use by the beginner in thefield and for undeveloped c o u W s t M wish to establish a national hboratoq or calibmfion laboratorg. The lack of such a handbook is serious, so the ITU has decided to generate one. The editor, Richard L Sjdnor, and the assistant ediior, David &, have selected authors for the various chapters from experts in the field and have correlafed the work and generated the various dmfls for the f ind version.
