Improved decoding algorithm of Turbo codes and its performance analyses

Derived from the conventional Log-MAP decoding algorithm of turbo code, the improved SW-Log-MAP algorithm is put forward. Based on simulation,the conclasion is drawn that computational complexity and storage requirement of the improved SW-Log-MAP are reduced with no performance degradation.
