Modified Timing-error Detecting Algorithm for QAM Singal

A modified Gardner timing-error detecting algorithm for multi-level signal(MPSK,QAM) is proposed. The simulation results show that the algorithm can obviously eliminate the self-noisy in the detecting of PAM/QAM signals. And in practical applications, the computational complexity of such algorithm is low.
