Design of SIP DoS attack detection plugin based on balanced message number

With the use of Session Initial Protocol diffusely,the protocol’s security problems have gradually emerged,in which DoS attacks are the most serious.This paper focuses on the research of detection mechanisms of DoS attacks in SIP protocol.The principle based on balanced message number is proposed firstly.Then,a DoS attack detection plugin is brought out.At last,simulation and test are taken to analyze the performance of the detection plugin.
