Design of voice network over bluetooth access point based on Blackfin processor

In the paper, combining bluetooth technology and packet voice technology, we design bluetooth access gateway and develop embedded system on Blackfin processor with lightweight TCP/IP stack to establish a bluetooth voice network via ethernet. The paper introduces the system architecture of voice network over bluetooth and hardware and software design methods of accessing point. The actual test results show that the system allows up to 7 bluetooth terminals to transmit their audio signals simultaneously to each destination through ethernet and achieve switch for bluetooth headsets among different access points. Test results achieve the requirements of real-time voice communication.
