Two New Mechanisms for Improving the Performance of Wireless TCP

This paper presents two new mechanisms to improve the performance of wireless TCP,they are:the scheme of adjusting TCP's segment size based on retransmission ratio and the scheme of setting Round Trip Time (RTT) threshold based on estimated throughput.Their feasibility and validity are validated by simulation results.They can provide efficient and reliable end-to-end Internet service in future wire/wireless Internet.
