Study on cross-programming methods between VFP and EXCEL

Database is a required course for students in computer specialty. VFP is one of the useful database languages. In this paper, the basic concepts of VFP and EXCEL are presented and some practical methods and instances of cross-programming between VFP and EXCEL are introduced. In these methods, the powerful data processing functions of VFP are combined with the excellent tabulating functions of EXCEL so that the software performances are improved greatly. The running results prove the feasibility and current significance of the algorithm.
