Superiority Effect and Phase Impenetrability Condition

Based on the research on multiple wh-questions by Takahashi,this article holds that MLC should be dispensed with in accounting for superiority phenomena and that,the superiority effects,which are connected with the functional interpretation of the wh-phrases in multiple wh-questions,can be directly deduced from the computation via the Phase Impenetrability Condition.
