Design and Implementation of Application Server Based on CORBA

Traditional Client/Server model exhibits a lot of defects such as poor expansibility,high support and maintenance costs,and difficult to upgrade when applying to large management information system.The three-tier model of application server based on CORBA(Common Object Request Broker Architecture)extends the two-tier model in the function.It resolves the separation of the transaction logic and representation logic in a certain extent.The application server based on CORBA is presented.It is made up of POA transaction logic,database service,support service,management and maintenance of server and CORBA client agent interface.
