Research on an Hierarchy Fault Detection Method for Distributed Object-oriented Environment

Present fault detection services for distributed object-oriented environment have some deficiencies at flexibility,scalability and extensibility,thus a hierarchy fault detection method was presented.Two conceptual models,fault provider-monitor-user model and domain model,form the foundation of our method.Subsequently some solution ideas were proposed to resolve the related problems in fault detection.This method introduces hybrid monitoring mode to mend the deficiency of present mode,uses asynchronous message-notification mechanism to achieve the fault information propagation timely,and adopts a hierarchy method,which is based on domain control node,to solve the problem of fault detection of different granularity entities in domain.Compared with the related works,our approach has some advantages in flexibility,scalability and extensibility.
