On Provisions of the Existing Law in Environmental Information Management System for Water Resource

Legal provisions on collection, processing, exchange and application of environmental information constitute an important part of Environmental Law. Because water resource is closely related to economic development and people's life, it is a pressing task to improve and strengthen information management system for water resource. This paper identifies legal provisions on collection, processing, exchange and application of water resource information and analysis their implementation in China. The author makes several proposals on how to improve Chinese legal system of water resource information management.
