Research on Hybrid Selection Combine Algorithm of Relays Based on MIMO-OFDM Cooperative System

In this paper,we propose a novel relay selection scheme based on MIMO-OFDM cooperative system,called Hybrid Selection Combine algorithm of relays(HSC).The principle of HSC algorithm is to make use of geographic information to find out the best AF(Amplify-and-Forward Relays) relay,and selects multiple DF(Decode-and-Forward Relays) relays by threshold of instantaneous SNR or error-probability-minimizing.Then,destination node combines signals of the best relays selected forwarding from source node and the direct signals with a maximum ratio combiner(MRC).This paper will analyze theory of the HSC algorithm,and study the effects of it to the BER of MIMO-OFDM system.According to the simulation in MATLAB,the results show that the relays selected by HSC algorithm can improve spatial diversity gain,and decrease the BER of MIMO-OFDM cooperative system.
