Application of Ad Hoc Network in Unknown Environment Exploration

Wireless Ad Hoc network is a kind of distributed self-organizing network with no infrastructure or central control.Aiming at Ad Hoc network,this paper proposes a Multi-Strategy Data Transmission Scheme(MSDTS) based on chain formation,alternate node and ferry transmission to explore the unknown environment and capture the relevant data.This scheme is simulated by network simulation tool named NS2,and the results show that MSDTS has good performance in the building of chain Ad Hoc network,data drop rate,average throughput of networks.
