Schema integration plays an important part in multidatabase design,work in previous tightly coupled multidatabase system was burdensome to global DBA.Presents the virtual database approach based on object oriented database in schema integration,it can alleviate the burden of global DBA.This approach guarantees the autonomy of all component databases and provides total transparence in data distribution.
