Design and Development of Advanced Mining Equipment Information System Based on SQL Server

Using Visual Basic as development tool and SQL Server as background database,through the combination of client/server(C/S)and browser/server(B/S)models,the construction of advanced mining equipment information system is realized.The database can be accessed by foreground according to ODBC(open database connectivity).The system management sub-module,the information query sub-module,the data processing sub-module,the data maintenance sub-module and the system maintenance sub-module are designed.The management functions of data query,modify etc are implemented and a data platform for the optimization of mining equipment system is offered.Because of a quite strong portability of the system,the mining enterprises can carry out secondary development,such as equipment system optimization,equipment selection analysis etc from the practical condition of the mine by means of the front development module.
