A Survey of Spatial Clustering Research

Clustering algorithm is the key technology in data mining.Clustering technology has wide application in pattern recognition,image processing and other fields.Along with its wider and deeper research,many different methods applicable to the spatial data mining have been emerged.Starts with introduction to typical requests when using clustering.Then,it proposes some commonly used spatial clustering algorithms in recent years and compares them from various aspects of these algorithms based on some evaluate standards,so a clustering algorithm for the particular problem is easy to find out.Finally,briefly predicts the development of the spatial data clustering.
