A Kind of VPN Classification Based on the Performance Analysis of Tunnel

For using the resource of public network as more as possible, and implementing it as internal network, the advent of the VPN satisfies these requirements. By analyzing several ways in implementing of mainstream VPN, it points out that he key of VPN is the mechanism of tunnel. So according to analysis the various performance of network that caused by various mechanism, we can conclude the differentia in technical implementing of VPN. At last this paper poses a method which is based on the performance analysis of tunnel for VPN classification. It works well in the real network and approves the validity of it.
