Research advances in video-based vehicle detection and tracking

Vehicle detection and tracking based on video image is an important branch of computer vision.A survey was presented on the state-of-art vehicle detection and tracking research,systematically classifying and introducing the main method of vehicle detection and tracking.In addition,several major issues for further research in the area were also pointed out.
