Corner Feature-Based One-Dimensional Linguistic Presentation for Simple-Shaped Objects

Based on the previous study of corner extraction,linguistic presentation for corner features of the simple-shaped objects is studied.A modified depth-first search(DFS) traverse algorithm is proposed to visit the contour corner features only and to exclude the contour features which are not on the desired loop.Experiments show that the proposed algorithm can successfully extract the loop of valid contour corner features and present them in one-dimensional language.
