Coarse and Fine Medical Image Registration Method Based on Mutual Information

Medical image registration method is studied in this paper,a coarse and fine registration method based on mutual information is proposed.In this method,firstly,according to the feature of the image,we choose the sampling interval to do rough registration,until the sampling interval is becoming zero;secondly,within certain range,the image registration is done based on the mutual information;lastly,the registration parameters are parameterized.Theoretical analysis and experiment results show that this method is efficient in medical image registration.
