Application of genetic algorithm on spectrum sensing of cognitive radio system

Based on the interference restriction for primary user, every channel characteristics are fully considered and a threshold vector optimization model is therefore set up. Then, the optimized threshold vector is obtained according to genetic algorithm. Consequently, the aggregate throughput of cognitive radio system has been greatly improved. The simulation results show that our approach for throughput optimization is more effective and advanced than the conventional technique with the same interference restriction.
