Based on Virtual Instrument for the Generator Set Fault Diagnosis and Online Monitoring

The fault shape of the generator set and the different track of the rotor axes when rotor with different fault shape is introduced. The correlation dimensions of the generator set are calculated respectively when the generator set in three different states. Based on the LabVIEW, the system is exploited for the generator set fault diagnosis and online monitoring. The experiment results show that the fault diagnosis of the generator set can be distinguished accurately by using the frequency analysis, wavelet analysis, Fractal theory meanwhile monitoring the track of the rotor axes and temperature of the bearing of the generator set.
