We proposed an unslotted carrier sense multiple access(CSMA) with guard time in single channel cognitive radio network and analyzed its performance.Analytically the performance measures such as the throughput of SUs and the interference ratio were obtained.Numerical results show that unslotted CSMA with guard time has good performance than that of without guard time.
