There are so many equipment with RS-232 interface need to be controlled remotely over Ethernet in particle accelerator filed,this paper introduced a new developed TCP/IP to Multi-Channel Series Ports Protocol Converter module which can connect up to 8 RS-232 devices via a Ethernet based on CPLD,MSP430 and W77E58 devices.
