A New Comprehensive Fault Diagnosis Approach Based on Fuzzy Theory

Based on Fuzzy theory,a new comprehensive fault diagnosis approach was presented by combining the systems model-relied method with the fault information-depended strategy.The construct of the comprehensive diagnosis system and the method to accomplish fault detection and diagnosis were discussed by an example on nonlinear systems.The comprehensive approach can expend fault diagnosis bounds,and can link to the engineering practicality nearly.An AC motor familiar fault diagnosis was studied to explain that the approach is feasible and valid.
