A quick method of calculating and verifying bulk grain vessel's stability

For the purpose of calculating and verifying the bulk grain vessel's stability,according to(SOLAS) 1974(International Convention for the Safety of Life at Sea,1974),Office Excel can be used to program the calculation and verification of the bulk grain vessel's stability.The program has the functions of auto chart searching,built-in auto calculation,and simple logical judgment,i.e.,it is able to determine whether a data item can be processed and directly give a conclusion through the calculation and judgment according to a given condition.For example,the cargo stowage plan can be changed and adjusted and decision can be made instantly to know if a requirement is met.The practical case shows that the method is simple,easy to operate,and has a wide range of application.
