Design and implementation of video image-scaling module

The paper introduces the image-scaling module for video processing chip. The module is designed for both integral and fractional scaling ratios and utilizes variable filter window for calculating pixels of a scaled image to realize pixel re-sampling. The algorithm is implemented, and can achieve fine image quality with lower hardware cost. The chip with image scaling function will be used in LCD TV or various other digital display devices.
