A Efficient method of retrieving large MIB table

SNMP is a popular network management protocol.Because the total amount of management informations that needs to be transferred between NMS(Network Management Station)and SNMP Agent has increased greatly,efficient transfer of bulk data is becom-ing vital.By researching into the GetBulkRequest in SNMPv2,a fixed GetBulkRequest was given out in this paper.GetBulkRequest has the problem calls overshoot that decrease its efficiency.The fixed GetBulkRequest solved the overshoot problem,and improved the efficiency of retrieving large table.
