A Scheme of Efficient Implementation of Rijndael Algorithm

The efficient implementation of the Rijndael algorithm has the important practical value in information security. The mathematical principle of Rijndael algorithem is discussed in this paper. S-box, mixed column transformation and round transformation are optimized by using the property of the Rijndael algorithm and multiplication group in GF(2~8) with equivalent transformation method. On the basis of the table lookup method, the efficient implementation of Rijndael algorithm is proposed.This paper also analyzes the performance of the implementation.
