Through the look-back of the history of the progress of the ring,put forth here in the paper is the basic requirement of the cotton spinning ring as well as the effect on the spinning production and spinning quality.Analysis is done of the varieties and the features of ring before the approach into the hardness of ring as well as the friction factor against the travellers and price-performance ratio.Conclusion is made that development of ring should be self-contained with the progress of traveller,aiming at new branded rings with high price-performance ratio.
