In order to reduce the cost, reasonable use resource of software and hardware, design based on A* algorithm and STM32 microcontroller electronic map system, applied to public information service. The system uses STM32F103ZET6 microcontroller as the core, with a small amount of peripheral circuit, running on it in an efficient, compact program and algorithm.Using the FSMC bus of STM32 to drive IS62WV51216 SRAM memory chip,to extend the memory space needed for the main control processing the maps data.At the same time, use the FSMC bus to drive the 7 inch LCD module, greatly improving the LCD over the speed.SD card stores replaceable map data. When the system is initialized, the map data in the SD card is read into the external expansion of the SRAM to be processed,so as to speed up the processing. On software, with the transplant of the embedded operating system UCOSII and UCGUI graphics library, achieved on each task processing as well as the entire system interface design.Through the transplantation of A* algorithm, realization of the shortest path between two points.Experiments show that the system is smooth in appearance, accurate in path searching, and can be used as a general small place navigation electronic map system, replacing the traditional sign or static maps.
