Design of LDPC Code and Its Implementation in Wireless Sensor Network

Wireless sensor network nodes are usually deployed in harsh environment,which cause the channel coding scheme is indispensable for reliable data transmission.Low-density parity-check code is well known for its abilities to achieve near Shannon channel capacity limit.The design and implementation of LDPC code for WSNs are discussed,and the solutions are provided to reduce the decoding complexity and save the memory.The result shows that the LDPC code with short code length can be applied in WSN node to improve BER performance of the system.
