The Establishment of Topological Data Relation of Graph in RDBMS

With the development of WebGIS, the methods of storing great quantity of graphical data and attributive data are paid more and more attention to. The remote managements of data in network are still fundamental functions. There have been many pieces of mature software of RDBMS in client/server network system. But they are not able to effectively store length-changeable records. The paper tries to build topological data relation of 2 dimensions in RDBMS, and to program in PowerBuilder to search node (or vertex) name and coordinate value through string-line table or coordinate table. An instance in the paper is the calculation of area of a field.
