Research on Ad Hoc routing protocol based on cluster

Lin Xu · Journal of Yanshan University · 2005

A mobile Ad Hoc network (MANET) is a self-organizing and self-configuring multi-hop wireless network, where the network structure changes dynamically due to member mobility. Firstly thecluster is introduced, then AODV, DSR and brings for- ward a protocol are introduced, which is on the basis of WCA and use for reference of the advantages of on-demand routing in Ad Hoc routing protocol. Its routediscovery is realized from one Cluster Header to another and thecommunication between the Clusters recur to Cluster Headers (no exist Gateway Node). Finally, it discusses that this protocol need be improved and studied.
