On the Infimum of Two Positive Operators

In this paper,we investigate the infimum problem of two positive operators A,B on an infinite dimensional Hilbert space.By the blok-operator matrix technique,the spectral charicterization when A∧P exists and the sufficient and necessary condition in which A∧B exists are established.
